Cecilia Alvarez

Cecilia Alvarez holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Management (iDEM) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her research interests focus on high-impact entrepreneurship, new venture growth, innovative entrepreneurship, export orientation, and the financial contexts surrounding entrepreneurial ventures.

Prior to her doctoral studies, Cecilia specialized in Corporate Finance, with academic and professional experiences in Bolivia and the U.K. She served as an Assistant Professor for five years at the Escuela de la Producción y la Competitividad at Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo,” where she taught and conducted research in finance and entrepreneurship.
